In a recent blog post from biggerpockets.com there was a list of real estate terms that sound very glamorous but actually describe some really undesirable attributes of a home. Real estate jargon can definitely be misleading. My top 5 were as follows:
1. Cozy bedrooms: Not a single room could fit a full size queen, never mind a king bed!
2. Must see inside: Means the outside is more than ugly.
3. Partial lake/mountain view: If you climb up to the roof, you can just get a glimpse.
4. Easy highway access: Sure it’s easy, considering the street is the equivalent of an arterial route to the highway.
5. Tudor: The house has two attic-style bedrooms, which are not insulated properly. This means you’ll be freezing in the winter, and die from the heat in the summer
