There are so many fantastic businesses in Etobicoke to try. Find out where we’ve been this month!
I love authentic Thai food. I’ve always headed downtown to experience the best authentic Thai. That all changed when we celebrated my wife’s birthday at Chiang Mai.
It’s conveniently in a plaza at 84 Parklawn Rd, that’s just north of Parklawn and Lakeshore. Parking is free and it’s walking distance for most of Humber Bay. Yah!
Our Chiang Mai Experience
We were out for dinner on a Tuesday night. The restaurant was full which is a good sign for a mid-week dining. Reservations would be recommended if you’re going to head out on the weekend.
The décor was fun and stylish. Bright teal booths, super high ceilings with very cool lighting lending itself to both informal dining or for that special date night.
There are a few spots of parking right by the restaurant and also the ability to park underground.
The chef Yodchai Chaodorn had been part of the successful launch an awesome Thai restaurant in the Danforth. It’s not a surprise he was able to bring the same quality of food and experience to this new restaurant.
The food was outstanding, the presentation over the top and the service was prompt and friendly.
Nothing ordinary about this new Humber Bay restaurant.
If you’re looking for authentic Thai food in the hood you should give Chiang Mai a try.
Guaranteed not to disappoint.
