Etobicoke Business Spotlight: The Kitchen Hub

Our first neighbourhood virtual food hall

Have you ever heard of a virtual food hall? Don’t worry either had we— but it’s quickly become one of our favourite new services in South Etobicoke!

In short, The Kitchen Hub is a Food Hall for virtual kitchens. It provides turn-key kitchen space to restaurants, allowing them to use the kitchen space, equipment and logistics to service delivery in South Etobicoke.

What restaurants are part of The Kitchen Hub?

This means many of Toronto’s best restaurants are now servicing our area for pickup and delivery! Right now, heavy hitters like, PaiThe Carbon BarBlondies, Kanga, Greenhouse, Fresh, and The Cheese Cake Factory are all operating out of The Kitchen Hub. It goes without saying that better delivery services couldn’t be coming at a better time, as COVID-19 continues to keep many of us at home.

Our personal favourites

My personal go-to currently is Fresh— it’s one of my favourite healthy-choice restaurants that I used to crave all the time and had to venture downtown to enjoy—not any more thanks to The Kitchen Hub.

Next on our list

Next up on my list to try is the Cheese Cake Factory. Their Yorkdale location always has always had massive lines, so I look forward to testing it out from the comfort of my own home.
