1. Franklin Horner Community Centre’s Hometown Fair

Where: Franklin Horner Community Centre, 432 Horner Ave, Etobicoke, ON M8W 2B2
Franklin Horner Community Centre will be hosting it’s annual Hometown Fair this Saturday and it’s the perfect spot to help you get ready for Christmas. Browse homemade crafts, including woodwork, quilts, and knitwear. There’ll also be a bake table, a BBQ, and a food court.
2. Kingsway Conservatory Orchestras and Choirs in Concert

Where: Kingsway-Lambton United Church, 85 The Kingsway, Etobicoke, ON M8X 2T6
Cost: $7 – $10
Students of the Kingsway Conservatory of Music will be showcasing their talents this Friday in a delightful concert. Hear from a range of ages singing and performing with all sorts of instruments including flute and drums.
3. Santa Experience at Sherway Gardens Mall

Yes, it’s that time of year again when children everywhere get to experience the magic of Christmas. And in the lead up, it’s always so great for them meet Santa himself. Sherway Gardens Mall has been refining its Santa Experience over the years and it has become a hugely popular attraction. Santa will be arriving this Saturday and staying until Christmas Eve! If you can’t get in there, Santa will also be at Cloverdale Mall starting this weekend.
4. Westway Christian Church Christmas Bazaar

There are a LOT of Christmas markets happening this weekend, so you can really take your pick, or even tour them all. Aside from Westway United Chruch’s offering, there’s also the Christ the King Christmas Fair, the Christmas Market at St Demetrius Ukrainian Orthodox Church, a Come Again Sale at Richview United Church, and the Etobicoke School of the Arts Winter Craft Fair!
5. Family Christmas Weekends at Black Creek Pioneer Village

Have you ever wondered what Christmas was like back in the olden days? Well now you can find out. Black Creek Pioneer Village offers up an immersive experience where you can step into a Victorian Christmas wonderland. Discover old traditions, sing along with Christmas carols, learn about historic Christmas food, and lots more.
6. Saturday Night at the Movies with George Chuvalo

The George Chuvalo Community Centre is set to be complete early in 2018 and will provide a safe and fun space for children and youth to learn and explore. This fundraiser for the project will involve a fantastic evening of movie fun with five-time Canadian heavyweight champion George Chuvalo. You can grab tickets from Eventbrite.
7. Toussaint: Traditions of the Dark Months at Montgomery’s Inn

With all the Christmas merriment, some of you might be looking for a little something darker. If that sounds like you, then you may want to check out this event at Montgomery’s Inn on Sunday. Experience the Celtic tradition of Breton folklore with storytelling and music. There’ll also be a simple Breton meal and a tour of the inn.
8. Holiday Greenery Workshops at Colborne Lodge

9. Tri-City Gospel Chorus Concert

The interdenominational Tri-City Gospel Chorus has 100 members from all over southern Ontario, who delight churchgoers with their “Singspiration!” services. This Sunday, they’ll be at Islington United Church performing gospel favorites in barbershop style.
