Markian is a broker with over 20 years of real estate experience who brings innovative thinking and an enviable work ethic to Silecky Thompson. Markian has a Bachelor of Civil Engineering from Ryerson and a Bachelor of Arts in Art History from U of T and is fluent in English, Ukrainian and French. 

Markian is a native of Bloor West Village and currently resides in Humber Valley with his wife Oriana and two sons Jakob and Alexander.

Markian was a member of the Canadian men’s rowing team, competing at international regattas such as the World Championships and Pan Am Games, and continues to be involved with rowing at the Argonaut Rowing Club and Varsity Blues. 

Outside of Real Estate

In his downtime, Markian enjoys playing a variety of sports at the Boulevard Club and spending time outdoors with his family. He is passionate about the environment from organic farming to electric cars, sustainability, beekeeping and ecotourism. He believes in active community involvement and volunteers with several organizations.
