There are so many fantastic businesses in Etobicoke to try. Find out where we’ve been this month!

Each month, we visit one of the wonderful businesses in Etobicoke and bring you the lowdown on what they have to offer. This month, we stopped in for lunch at Fit Organix, a pioneering meal delivery service located at Browns Line and Evans. Offering up delicious food in store or at your door, this could be just the ticket to help you stay healthy in 2018!

In this post, we shine the spotlight on Fit Organix and share our experience visiting this fantastic local business.

The Fit Organix Story

Business partners Jules and Ryan.

Business partners Jules and Ryan.

Fit Organix was founded by Jules Lieff, a well-known Toronto fitness trainer. While she was able to help her clients achieve fantastic results in the gym, it was clear they were struggling with eating healthy.

And so Fit Organix was born. This organic food delivery service makes it easy for health-conscious customers to maintain a balanced diet without having spend hours planning and preparing meals.

It provides a full day’s worth of meals and snacks, so you don’t even need to visit a grocery store. What’s more, menu items are both organic and free of common allergens. This ensures low inflammation and has a healing effect on the body.

Meal plans can be purchased on a per month or per week basis with vegetarian, vegan, and paleo options available. You can even have a plan custom-tailored to suit your needs and tastes.

Our Experience

Spring roll bowls.

Spring roll bowls are just one of the many delicious looking meals on the menu.

We dropped into the store for lunch and we have to say, this is a really cool business. We enjoyed a delicious and nutritious meal that left us feeling completely satisfied. Anyone can visit and choose from a selection of hot table items. You can also get cold salads, smoothies, organic fair trade coffee, and more.

Another super cool part of this business is the onsite Vibe Kombucha brewery, which is run by Ryan. Kombucha provides probiotics to keep your gut healthy, and offers many other amazing benefits. You can sample some of the small batches of raw organic kombucha teas that are crafted in the store.

You’ll also find delicious fermented foods including kimchi, sauerkraut, and mustard. The team also features handmade goods and locally made products with stories of their own. As if all of that’s not enough, you can also attend workshops and DIY seminars on Kombucha and fermented foods.

It’s clear that Fit Organix isn’t just a business, but rather a part of a healthy and healing community. Jules and Ryan, it’s so great to have your fantastic store  and services in our neighbourhood. See you again very soon! From your ThompsonSells team!
